An Apple A Day Keeps A Doctor Away (?)
Salam a dobry den,
Today I want to share a recipe which I immediately fall in love with..hehe
Apple cake (source: allrecipes.com + some modification based on the reviews)
Ingredients:
5 apples (peeled and sliced thinly)
2 tsp cinnamon powder (skoriče mlety)
1 1/2 - 2 cups of sugar (as you wish. I used 1 1/2 as I don't like it to be too sweet)
2 cups of flour
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup of vegetable oil
2 tsp of baking powder
1/2 tsp of salt
1 cup of chopped nuts (any kind of nuts. I used hazelnuts)
How to make:
1. Whisk eggs and sugar until fluffy
2. Add in oil and continue beating
3. Add in vanilla essence
4. Sift flour, salt, cinnamon and baking powder together
5. Fold in the flour into the batter.
6. Put in the apples and nuts together in the batter and mix it well
7. Bake in a ligthly grease pan at 175 degree celcius for about 1 hour.
8. Cool the cake down before sifting icing sugar on top.
it's really simple and quick to make..just need a lil' bit of effort to peel and slice the apples but the rest is done in just 10-15 minutes before baking.
Okay, as the fall is drifting away now with the winter is coming verrrryyyy soon (snow is forecasted to fall this wednesday), here's an ayat from the Love Letter (which I think I've mentioned it in the last year fall),
(Apa lah aku dah merepek2 ni..) So peeps, watch what you're eating and keep your body healthy as there's a saying,
(in Malay la, I'm too lazy to think of their translation..huhu)
People seems to remember Him during sick and hard times. So the bigger challenge is to remember Him also in the good times. So, come on! grab the chance before it's too late.
Happy upcoming winter! May this winter brings us something that make us closer to Him insyaAllah...=)
Till then, salam and Na shle!

Okay, as the fall is drifting away now with the winter is coming verrrryyyy soon (snow is forecasted to fall this wednesday), here's an ayat from the Love Letter (which I think I've mentioned it in the last year fall),
"Apakah engkau tidak memerhatikan, bahawa Allah menurunkan air dari langit, lalu diaturnya menjadi sumber-sumber air di bumi, kemudian dengan air itu ditumbuhkan-Nya tanam-tanaman yang bermacam-macam warnanya, kemudian menjadi kekuning-kuningan, kemudian dijadikan-Nya hancur berderai-derai. Sungguh, pada yang demikian itu terdapat pelajaran bagi orang yang berakal sehat."
"Seest thou not that God sends down rain from the sky, and leads it through springs in the earth? Then He causes to grow, therewith, produce of various colours: then it withers; thou wilt see it grow yellow; then He makes it dry up and crumble away. Truly, in this, is a Message of remembrance to men of understanding."
(Surah Az-Zumar 39:21)So, what's up with the title above (and why's there a bracket with question mark)? Well, I would like to say that the quotation is not always correct. There's 5 apples in this recipe, so literally it should keep like, 5 doctors away? hahaha..but not in this case. If you consume too much apple cakes, then you would meet 5 doctors straight away. lol

"...rebut lah masa sihat sebelum sakit"Stay healthy so that we can pray more to Him! ^_^
